Think about food

Today is World Food Day.
While the headlines lead us to worry about what to do with our diminishing 401k or even if we can afford our mortgage payments, nearly a billion people wonder if they are going to eat today.
In general there is a lack of media attention on the global food crisis. Here’s a new article byMichael Pollan from this past week’s NYT magazine examining all of the progress needed to bring humans towards a healthier relationship with food.
With so many changes needed in the way we think and move to solve this crisis, its important that we start things off by being grateful for how lucky we that we have food on our table.
